LEVIN GTV Regular Location: Adelaide Registered: October 2004	Exhaust to suit 96kw 4age Wed, 05 January 2005 15:40 Hey guys, I have a JDM FWD 4age 96kw in my ae92 levin. I have read previous posts and basically reached the idea to get a 2.25" exhaust to suit my car. But....After going to a leading Adelaide exhaust shop i was told that 2.25" was too big for my 1.6L engine and that i would be wiser to get a 2" mandrel bent exhaust, and being mandrel bent would mean that it would be just as good as a 2.25" pressed exhaust. Now i am unsure which way to go, whether to get a 2.25" press, 2.25" mandrel bent or 2" mandrel. What do you guys suggest? Also what sort of boxes would you suggest? I was looking at an apexi n1 but was told that the inner part of the muffler was not stainless steel and that i should be looking at a junbl or something of the like. Dont mind paying a bit more for a better brand. What mufflers/boxs sound good on 4age or which have you had experiences with? Prefer to stay away for the cheapish brands. Also has anyone had extractors made up for their 4age? I was told that if i were to go 2.25" that the extractors wouldnt actually fit, that i would need custom made ones. Any ideas?
