http://www.jadatoys.com/initialD164.html

I just went and picked up my 'import racer' trueno's at BigW, Jada the company that makes them is producing a series of Initial D toys (thats right, the USA and us will get them in stores! Im talking Kmart, BigW etc..) The toys themselves look tops! check out the site.

Interesting points on my 'import racer' trueno.

Its LHD Rolling Eyes Has some interesting stickers. 'P.J Bonifacio' on the windscreen Smile The number plate is 19-86 Rolling Eyes

I wonder what this means for us hachi owners.

i got one for xmas Smile
who gives a fuck about the implications for the sprinter owners? initial D has done enough, this is only gonna be an extra thing for those who are already into sprinters. i think its good that there are readily available models now, used to be hard to get them but now its easy so im not complaining. Rolling Eyes

The bleeding panda ones look cool Smile

I wonder if you'll be able to get them in any BigW store.. may have to have a look next time im up there...

Are they expensive?

If they had a red and black one in a levin id get one, and put it in my hachi.. they'd match Smile

Theres apparently a yellow one aswell as a charcoal one also.
2 down 2 to go. heh. The 1:18 ID series looks tops tho. Appear to be diecast and come on a section of road with characters! heh.

They could have at least put the hachi in good angle to the road, this picture makes it look like its understeering!

I picked up the white one, seen the red but not the yellow or charcoal.
The inital D set has been made for quite a while though, was gunna order of ebay. Are they actually in the stores now, I know the jada truenos are as I bought one obviously....

With the 1/24 Initial D, there are 2 sets, just the cars and one with the car and figures.
