need to know if ae71 is the same as a 4ac ae86 brake master cylinder, or if it was possible to buy a kit, master cylinder kit for cheaper ??. any help would be appreicated.

You're getting ripped off - I assume that price is from Toyota? Use a local parts supplier close to you, to price a suitable unit.
