cheap strut brace off e-bay?

Lots of new strut braces and the like on e-bay these days. Often based in USA, but very cheap. I need one for my AE86. Does anyone know, are these strut braces cheap in quality also and does it matter? I know its only a bar, but I don't want it to flex or have the welds break.
I can get secondhand namebrand (Cusco etc.) strut braces from YahooAuctions Japan also for very cheap, but there is still postage and commisions to pay. I'm not sure what to get.

I enquired about these before, and even though they say they will ship worldwide, they wont.
This was over a month ago though.

One US guy wouldn't send to Aus, another quoted $90USD postage and yet another $65USD. Some dodgy feedback too though they seem to be dealing in large volumes. T3 gave up making there's as the market dried up in the U.S. for "quality" bars.
So not so cheap after all that.

I got my strut tower braces for ~$130 each from Whiteline.
As Justen says you couldn't make them yourself for that sort of price!
