this is just a clarification post to anyone looking to put a post 74 celica bumper on a early 71-72 ta22
Guys - they dont fit at ALL without modification to the holes that go thru to the boot
Brackets are totally different - and offset by near on 4 inches either side ..
if you need to do this you will need to match and drill holes to suit the later celica bumper . Once this is done - EVERTHING else will line up as before ( numberplate wires are identical - etc etc ..)
hope that clears up any debate
I have pictures of the difference if anyone wants them ..
