japanese 3s ge conversion

hey,
over the last month or so ive been through a stock 3s ge from a st162 (I blew the bottom end bearings! )Well anyways, after much thought i decided the same engine was the way to go as funds were short due to the festive season and i needed a car asap. my mechanic found and fitted a 3s ge import model into my car within a week, and in time for christmas  well to the point, i realised this engine now has 'yamaha' imprinted north of the extractors, and after some searching and so forth its lead me to beleive this engine has 160ps
what is this figure in kW?
and also what is the difference in the yamaha head?
furthermore will i benifit from a import japanese ECU?
