panel beaters. help?

got abit of dings and scratches on the sprinter.
tried searcing forums but nothing came up.
firstly. theres lil dents on panels. how do i knock those straight?
and 2ndly when sanding down teh paint. do i use the big electric sand buffers or scrub?
sorry im full noob at this.
