floppy Regular Location: Ipswich Registered: January 2004	TA22: Electronically Assisted Ignition Mon, 24 January 2005 03:14 Hey guys, A friend of mine was saying that he made a kit to convert his old Escorts to Electronically Assisted Ingnition. Now he had these in his escorts a few years ago, but I was considering doing this to my TA22. So I guess my question is, has anyone here done that to one of their cars, and is it worth doing? He mentioned that after doing the kit, he didnt burn out as many points, something about it being less voltage going into the distributor or something like that? He is looking for the book that the kit came out of so I can have a better look at the info in there. Anyway enough of my ramblings.
