Ok... how the hell do you get this thing off. Ive never removed one off an Automatic before. You cant lock it in gear or anything so the crank just spins around. I cant secure vicegrips to anything, and ive tried wedging them in somewhere but the blighter still moves.
ive tried jamming stuff in the holes that are inside the pulley (theres 4) but they just hit the plastic cover behind and wont lock into anything.
Suggestions ive been given are:
1) Try a rattle gun (dont have access to one atm)
2) Remove the sump and attach vicegrips to the crank (no way)
3) Construct a frame that braces against the ground and and bolt it into the holes on the pulley (prolly the best idea but effort!)
Im sure people have done this, is there a more obvious way that i have totally missed?
