Brake upgrade for FWD corolla Sun, 30 January 2005 02:06 Go to previous message
Just wondering which brake setup would be more efficient/effective for normal road use/track usage and spirited driving.

1. Levin single pot with
- rotor size 255mm x 22mm
- aftermarket brake pads (endless, ebc and the likes)
- aftermarket rotor 22mm thickness (dba slotted rotor)
- steel braided brake hoses (goodridge)
- 5.1 brake oil

Levin twin pot with original twinpot rotor skimmed to 255mm (diameter)
- rotor size 255mm x 25mm
- aftermarket brake pads (endless, ebc and the likes)
- steel braided brake hoses (goodridge)
- 5.1 brake oil

The twin pot is basically of the superstrut levin ae101 modified to fit mcpherson. Any ideas ?
