Wed, 02 February 2005 08:04 hi guys my st185 has been playing up.. it has a problem with the radiator fan. it was not coming on and causing the car to overheat.. i had a quick look over thing and thought i had found the problem. I looked in the fuse box and wiggled the Fan relay thing around abit, i pulled it slightly out and held it in a certain position.. and this would allow my fan to come on?! wierd.. so i went out the next day and bought a new fan relay thing for 24bux., i put the new one in.. idled the car for a while and the fan was still not coming on.. i looked around and under the car i noticed coolant slowy dripping out of somewhere.. i couldn't track the source of the leak exactly but it wasnt coming from anywhere near the radiator. so i suspect it might be from one of the hoses. the leak slowly continued after i turned the engine off. then i realised this is a situation for a professional to look at. thanks for any ideas on what might be the problem.. edit: wasn't [Updated on: Wed, 02 February 2005 08:14] [Report message to a moderator]
