GZE and HKS head gasket Thu, 03 February 2005 06:56 Go to previous message
ok. i think i might just have wasted a heap of cash....
bought a HKS 2mm head gasket for my GZE rebuild. we looked up the specs in the HKS book, and apparently this gasket is supposed to set comp. ratio at 8.9:1.

now, i was just looking in another post and my GZE (AFM, coil pack type) has 8.0:1 to start with.....

what do you guys think i should use???? (i have a new genuine gasket too) id like to use the HKS item but will the comp be too low. i have custom pulley to run 13psi too. and all the good stuff for the rebuild (injectors, ecu, ported head, cams...blah blah)
