So i have preaviously installed an AVCR myself on my tt auto soarer with great results. I then installed a HKS fuel cut deffender (FCD) to raise the fuel cut slightly. The FCD spliced into the pressure signal (I'm guessing it is the map sensor signal). By spliced i mean the signal wire was cut, signal from engine went into 1 side of the FCD and then fed into the ECU. I then bought an SAFC II and read the installation instructions. The SAFC II also cuts into the pressure singal the FCD does.
My question is can both these items (SAFC II + FCD ) be used together, because as far as i know they both modify the singal the ecu recieves, would one cancel the other out? or do they modify the signal in different ways? If this is so can anyone tell me how each modifies the signal?
Also, the readouts from the avcr and safc are slighty different where they have been spliced into the same signal like RPM and throttle readouts, is there a reason for this?
And finaly can these to piggy back units be made "aware" of each other. I can recall ready that the safc can "trace" avcr functions.
