Jab what?!!?!
W58 - serial numbers or identifiers Thu, 03 February 2005 13:12 Go to previous message
I have been doing a search through the forums on W58's.
It is apparent that there are 4 different shifter positions.

"There are 4 stick posi the most common is staight up then 35 mm then 55mm back but there is also a rare 1 that is 25 mm fwd to the straight up posi".

And also the issue of the great later being the strongest.
And if it was a tranny released with a non-turbo or a turbo engine (I am guesisng there would be strength differences).

Are there any unique serial numbers or identifiers that can be used.... well to identify the variant of W58. Quite helpful when trying to find out what box someones is selling...

Another newbie Q, What is a R154 from?
