I was exitting maccas the other day to turn left onto a road while the light was red so I had to wait at the exit for a car to let me in when the light went green. I was turning before I got to the exit and so when I stopped the wheel was turned all the way and then I noticed my idle rpm drop to about 400 (usually around 600-700) and then the car just died. The battery light came on and I just started the car again (lol like I stalled or something).

Later coming home I was getting ready to do a u-turn and had the wheel turned all the way and the rpm dropped again and the car felt.. shaky? That time I just turned back the wheel so it wouldn't die on me. It happens all the time now I've realised.

Does anyone know what causes this? Is it a power steering fluid problem?
It's an AE92 Corolla CSX with a 4afc if that helps.

Cheers ppl Smile
