Remove Tinted Indicator?

Hey All,
A mate got a car secondhand (privately) and some "person" decided to spray that tinting crap all over the indicator... Is there a way to remove it revealing the indicators in it's former glory?

we had similar thing happen. my brother sprayed that black tinting crap onto the tail lights.
We used small doses of thinners on a rag and wiped hard and it got like 90% of it off. Just be careful if you are going to do it while its still on the car not to get any on the paint!

Some guy at my high school years ago put black stockings over his indicators and lights to make them look tinted, was hilarious

I saw that on a Silvia at uni last year!!! Looked f'ing ridiculous!
