Whiteline suspension mods for AE92

I recently had a Whiteline kit put on my SX by a reseller which Im not really that happy with, and I just wanted to get some feedback from anyone out there who's modified the suspension of their AE92 SX.
The left front shock went belly up about 3 days after I got the car back (they put KYBs on the car as I had the wrong struts for Konis), but even taking this into account the car seems under damped, and the suspension mods not that compliant for everyday driving.
It bottoms at the back just going up driveways, and the front lurches over road irregularities.
To be fair to the guy he asked me what I was going to do with the car. I said Id take it to the track once every month or two, but obviously 99% of the time I would be road driving.
I'll reserve final judgement and get back to everyone after the shock has been replaced. Im not having a go at Whiteline ... Maybe Im expecting too much ...its a Corolla, not a Peugot after all. I wrote this more to get some feedback from peoples experiences so that when I go back to the workshop next week I would be better informed.
Please get back & let me know whats worked for you, and what hasnt. Ive got no more $$$ to throw at this car, and if I cant get the thing handling right, off it goes and Ill get something (like a Peugot) thats right ...out of the box, (piss poor build quality & all)
