Screwing with a 1G - what do these two screws do?

Excuse the dumb arse question, but I have found two screws in the intake system of my 1G-GZE. Both of these are under black rubber caps and accessible using a phillips head screwdriver.
One is in the AFM and the other is at the throttle body.
What do they do ? And
How do I play with them properly to tune/set-up my car.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers,
Mitch.

One adjusts the spring on your afm, hence adjusting your mixtures and the other your im not so sure about though i do know it does make your idle change so it might be for some sort of bypass it has (/me shrugs) if you dont know wat these things are i really dont suggest that you play with them.

afaik they're both designed to let air bypass something like the flap in the afm, or the throttle body butterfly.
The one on the AFM appears to be an adjustment to get the AFM flap to sit at the idle position by letting air pass by... I assume it'd also affect the mixture slightly.

Thanks Fattony and HyDrA,
Yes, I would agree that they both allow a controlable amount of air to bypass each of those components in turn and that mucking with them will stuff things up unless you know what you are doing.
I will try and hunt up some tuning information on them.
Cheers,
Mitch.
