Dont know how many of you have ever heard of the toyota D4 direct injection engines (2JZFSE 1JZFSE etc.) But this post isnt really about those. This is really crazy so I will simplify it. Are there coolant passageways right below valetrain or anything? To understand where I am really talking about is this. If I were to find a space where you could "drill" a whole into the cumbustion chamber, would I be drilling through coollant passageway or just solid aluminum? Note that this whole needs to be purdey damn big bout the same as the wholes for spark plugs. Thanks!

If your experimenting, you might be better off using a 3T-G as they have the second spark plug hole you could use.

If you must do it, I'd choose something that has a little more room to play with. The 1G has a 75mm bore, there is barely enough room for the valves and spark plug, let alone another hole Razz

M.W.P you are brilliant I cant bellieve I didnt think of that! But then again isnt its chamber desighned around having 2 spark plugs?

A lot of people run modified 3T-GTE's with only 1 set of spark plugs. Apparently it works fine.
