I am currently building a Drag car powered by a Toyota 1UZ-FE V8
which will be blown from a roots 6:71 supercharger running EFI and methanol fuel.
I am designing a custom throttle body/injector plate and my design sqecificly requires the use of Bottom / side Feed injectors with a 90 degree connector only.
I cannot use any top feed or 45 degree bottom feed injectors as they simply will not suit my design.
I am not an expert on injectors and would like some help in suitable Bottom feed 90 degree connector injectors.
Here are some details I can give on the requirments.
I will be using a Microtec computer and am looking at injectors flowing over 550cc.
I would use 8 x 550cc injectors (or larger).
Or 16 x 330cc injectors (or equivilant small flow figures).
They would be sequentially fired in groups depending on what is allowed via the computer.
Fuel pressure has not been decided until number and flow on injectors has been set.
Comp ratio is 8.5:1 running forged pistons.
I am having trouble finding any injectors with a 90 degree connector but Ebay has shown me that WRX and some small toyotas use them.
They must be able to flow methanol and will only be used at the track and fuel system will be flushed after every meet.
Any help and advice opinions pics specs etc would be apreciated.
