1JZGTE in 82 soarer what to do?

hey all my brother has just purchased the 82 soarer that brad had for sale and he's looking to get a 1jgte put in.
What is going to be needed to make this conversion work e.g. do i need mounts to be made up or can i use another toyota's mounts to sit the engine in right and the same for the autobox crossmember, will i need a brake upgrade, will the diff hold will the tailshaft need to be cut and shut and what sump would i have to use mid, rear or front and where can i get a suitable half cut for the conversion at a mad price etc etc.
any reliable and accurate information is greatly appreciated
