I just thought before I do it will ask out there if there is anything else I need to be mindful of. I am only doing it because I have the sump off for another reason and thought I may as well. It's quite clean actually. I can only see one piece of debris on it

I am going to take it off and just reverse flush with some metho and perhaps a toothbrush lightly on the gauze and rinse the end in some metho in a bowl.

Replace the gasket and sump and fill her up!

Anything I am missing? Should do anything different?
