4age into celica t22 wirting help needed

Hi
this is the first time i ever try to put a injection engine into an older car, so please bare with me.
the engine is from a ae86, and the ecu and everything is from the same car, i been asking around how to wire it, but so far i havent gotten a good answer, but people told me to go to this site, and ask the question here, cuz people here were able to help me out.
i been looking at some wiring diagrams from the tech info files here, but i didnt really find anyone that told me what to do (i might just be stupid tho) so if someone can give me some advice on how to figure this out im very greatful.
i been told theres a lot of warning lamps and such, that i dont really need, so i dont wanna hook them up, i just want to hook it up so the engine is running like its supposed to, and every sensor etc is working like it should. with other words, i just want a fully functional engine, but all the extras is not needed.
is there any easy guide to how to wire this engine up to my celica, any chance anyone can explain it to me step by step?
i have never done this before, and people seems to give me this scared look when i ask about this, so i have gotten kinda scared myself, it seems like people who know about this, really thinks its a completely nightmare to wire it up. please tell me its not.
all help is very very very apriciated.
