JZZ30 vs JZA80 chassis

I was just interested in knowing how these to cars compare to each other in the handling department, being close in weight and size (JZZ30 being the tubbier of the 2). I'd imagine the supra being the better handler in stock form, but with coilovers, wheels and strut braces on both how much of a difference remain?
The reason behind this is I'm converting my soarer to manual and was tossing up between keeping it in its current 230rwkw (stock turbos) form with the manual, saving up some cash, selling it then buying a JZA80 supra. Or going the distance with the soarer and doing the suspension, mild weight reduction, wheels and turbos. Hopefully to end up with something that will out run and out maneuver most modded supras and something a little different.
Thoughts and info welcome
