Here are the details...
1971 Mk1 Ford Escort.

- Supra (not sure which model) 5-speed gearbox
- Autronic SM2 Computer
- K&N Cone Filter
- 3" Mandrel exhaust, Magnaflow muffler.
- Standard CT20 Turbo.
- Standard Injectors.
- 4 new shocks (not super expensive ones, but not too bad)
- New front springs
- New or near new suspension bushes all round.
- K-MAC adjustable strut tops (allows camber and castor adjustment without jacking up the car)
- MK2 Escort Front brakes.
- MK2 Escort rear axle and brakes.
- 15" SAAB Wheels.
- Variety of gauges, including VDO 8,000 RPM chrome tacho, Autometer oil pressure, SpecoMeter Water Temp, Boost and Fuel level.
- Alarm and remote operated central locking.
What needs to be done...
Paint is pretty ugly. Body is pretty straight, but has small area of rust to the bottom/rear of front drivers side wheel arch.
Oil leak. Doesn't exactly flood out, but it's a pain nonetheless.
Available Performance Figures...
140 rwhp (claimed by previous owner - I've never had it on a dyno)
Best ET of 16.4. Crap, I know, but that was with me driving (couldn't get it off the line!!). Trap speed was 90mph, indicating it should be around 15 flat.
Other pertinent particulars...
The car is in Brisbane.
It is on WA Rego. No, I haven't got a mod plate for it yet, hence still on WA rego.
The conversion is approved in WA, without an engineer's certificate. I have all the approval paperwork, so if a WA person wants it, they'll be getting a registered, approved car.
No parking at new residence forces sale.
As for price, I'm open to offers. I'm a pretty motivated seller, so don't be afraid to make an offer.
