HELP with vacuum lines after swap Wed, 02 March 2005 20:59
Hey all,

I need some help with the T-vis vacuum lines after I swapped the old for engine for a t-vis one.

First of all It runs, had the injectors cleaned and their brilliant now,

the problem is, If I understand right, the t-vis will be actuated just after start, so at low rpm, the vacuum pulls the butterflys shut. and after 4400rpm the t-vis vsv gets actuated by the ecu, and vacuum drops from the actuator and valves open up.

well all tube are clean, as is the throttle body, T-vis actuator moves freely, spring tension is ok. so why don't they close up nicely when at idle. it's causing me idle problems so please help me out here if you can.

I removed the EGR system because there's no space for it in my car. and now I can't get the t-vis working anymore.
it was plumbed in like this,

But how to do it now without the EGR thingy in place, I keep running into pictures of t-vis plates connected like this. but there's no vacuum line to the inlet manifold in this set-up, can that be right? I tried this but I don't think it works.
