Changing injecotrs on 3TGTE Thu, 03 March 2005 05:27 Go to next message
Iam about to install 7MGTE injectors into my 3TGTE. I have had a look at the situation and am confident I could manage it by pulling the intake side completely apart, just wondering if this is necessery or not?? Or what exactly I do and dont need to remove?
Thanks
Pip

I've been able to do it with just removing the 2 bolts that hole the fuel rail in and of course removing the plugs from the injectors and the fuel lines.

It definately makes it easier to remove plenum.. But not totally necessary.

Talking about injectors, is there anything stamped on them to say what size they are? I was told the ones in my 3TGTE were replaced with 1000cc injectors. Does that sound right or are they huge?

scuse the ignorance.

Cheers, Greg.
