Hi,
It looks very nice. Bring to Al Palmers (see Event section) for the Toyota day this coming Saturday so I can see it up-close and peronal and run my beady eyes over it.

thanks for the comments.
River I dont think it will be ready by this weekend now, turns out my management system is newer than what we thought. It just has the F7B casing with a new circut board inside it for some reason, yea so it is going to take longer to tune. Will hopefully be ready sometime early next week or if things go well by this saturday.
Will put up a post when I get the beast back
Cheers,
Mitch.

Nice car mate, did you do the work yourself?
What sort of power are you expecting from it? or are you keeping that quiet until you get it tuned.

Well car is still at Quickfit, starting to get really pissed off now...they have had it for almost 2 months
Its now all running with all problems fixed, just needs a dyno tune now so hopefully I should have her back within a week.
They are also trying to charge me a lot more than what they originally said, so I am about to go nuts at this joint but hopefully it will be all sorted shortly.
Cheers,
Mitch.

Quickfit don't know anyone that was happy with em. Supposedly my car was wired up there, suffice to say it has since had a new loom put into it.

Cheers, will give that a go.
I am just gunna get them to finish it off, they have only the tuning to go and are going to get that done at the start of this week. I think that their quality of work will be OK just more concerned with how long it has taken and how much they are trying to charge me.
Will just have to wait and see, and hope for the best.

Thanks boris.
My brother actually mounted the intercooler, it is actually pushed up level with the top of my bumper bar, so going any higher would've required cutting the bumper and heaps more mucking around. Still have plenty of clearance from the ground where it is.

Cheers for the comment forced_induction
Dyno sheet says 154hp on low boost (low boost is 8psi). I was told initially that the car got around 160hp @ 10psi.
What dyno readout did you see and what did it say?

Are you up the North Shore of Sydney way are you ta23? Havn't seen your car around, but will keep my eyes open for it. Quickfit do some good stuff, did my MR2's exhaust nicely.
That IC isn't subtle either Very nice though!

Cheers for the comments Alchemist, no I am not from up North Shore, live in Wagga Wagga, wanted to get the work done elsewhere and my bro lives near that area.
Yea. wasnt 100% happy with quickfits work, they charged me a lot more than originally stated and had a few issues with some of the work they did.
Cheers,
Mitch.

Thanks for the comments, havent got any more power as yet.
Will be goin back up to Sydney shortly to get a new diff, re-tune and problems fixed up (running like shit, possible blown seal in turbo, and other issues). Any recommendations on places for tuning 3TGTE's with haltech's and/or diff specialists???
If you wanna let me know how much the GTV badge is that you have I may consider, although am saving pretty hard to get this other stuff done first, so may not be able to afford it.
Cheers,
Mitch

Always does a great job, really knows his stuff.
He manly specialises in Haltech.. But has had no problems tuning my Autronic or a mates Microtech.

ive also had my wolf3d installed by quickfit.. The wolf loom was quite neat having said that i think it would be hard to fuck up a wolf 3d loom as they only have about 4 sensors i think... Anyways steve just dosent know how to run a business and my car was seriously delayed aswell took 4 weeks for a basic ecu install and tune and that was after i hassled them constantly aswell as going there every couple of days to check on progress.... The cold start tune was way off even after i took it back to get the cold start adjusted (i left it there for another full week) it still isnt right but it is better and it wont start somedays when its really cold and still stalls sometimes when comming into traffic lights but i understand thats a tricky thing to tune for with gze's....
They never called when they had a problem until i kicked up a stink and threatened to take the car elsewhere...
I have to say it was a less than enjoyable experience and a lesson well learnt from my end...
They came in way over budget double the $1000 they quoted me and i ended up agreeing to pay $1200 which is the highest quote i got from other workshops...

4agte, I also had many problems with Quickfit, underquoted, took more than enough time and I wasnt 100% happy with the job.
