Hi all. Does anyone know the dimensions of the 4age conrods? Both the bigport bluetop and other later generations. I know that they have 40mm and 42mm crank/18mm and 20mm gudgeon respectively but I'm actually looking for outer diameters.
For example... if you were to superimpose one rod over the other, would they be EXACTLY identical, except for the crank/pin holes? I'm thinking of getting my bigport rods drilled out to take 20mm gudgeon pins but want to know if its even feasible in terms of strength. On that note... are they also made from the same materials?
