i've been reading/thinking a fair bit on this subjet lately.
found an interesting article here...
http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_1023/article.html?p opularArticle
my plan now is to have a filter box like this off my twin carbies

from that, run flexible pipe to a custom enclosed filter housing made of alluminium/stainless steel with a pod in it, located in the front drivers side of engine bay
(i'll have to move overflow and washer bottle for this)
from the bottom of this filter box, run a 2-3 inch pipe thorough the wheel arch (cutting holes in my body is always an option with a t-18) and out to the front of the car just under my bumper?
ive only seen this done on one other car before and am not sure if its a good idea, only reason i can think so is that it might take too much dirt in.
so i thought if using PVC for the intake, just get a cap for the end of it i can leavin in the glove box to wack on the front for those dusty times
so basically just wondering what everyone thinks of this intake feed to the front of the car, and what everyone else is using for intake?
