hwystar Newcomer Location: Melbourne Registered: March 2005	22R - 22RE head change over Sun, 13 March 2005 11:25 Hi all....I am new to this forum....hopefully I will get this right... Anyway I have a 94 hilux 22r and I am thinking about converting it to the 22RE version and then maybe a turbo later....the question I have is will a 22RE out of a RT 142 Corona (86 model)head fit straight onto my motor???? As I understand it there is a difference between the 22R and the 22RE crank???? So far I have only seen photos of the motor and it looks a bit different than mine???? The motor is a bargain and I would be only interested in the head, injectors etc and the computer. Any help would be great.... Andrew P.S Any output figures on the standard 22RE setup would be greta as well as any wiring loom (ecu) info... [Report message to a moderator]
