On my 1980 Corolla KE70 1.3 the cluth wire snapped the other day. I've bought a new one, but how do I change it??
My car is lefthand-driven, since I live in Norway. I've noticed the wireing goes from the clutch-lever trough the engine department and trough the wall on the right side of the car (that would be the passenger side on my car). The wireing then runs behind the dash and the heat-unit, to finally reach the clutch pedal.

My question is: Do I have to un-mount the dash (or part of it) or the heat-unit to get to the wire or is it possible to fit the new wire without doing this?
Anyone who got any tips about changing the wire?

I'm greatful for helpful answers=)

Best regards,
a norwegian hobby-mechanich Very Happy
