This topic of convicsation came up today with a group of friends, and frankly we knew nothing about either, but it got me thinking. What is the main difference between the two.

im sure this topic has been covered before.
However i will sum it up for ya.
Turbos are generally more efficient at making power and are generally cheaper to set up. They also allow you the option of adjusting the boost pressure on the fly.
Superchargers dont have the lag of a turbo but are less efficient and generally more exoensive to set up.
If you want instant torque superchargers ar for you.
If you want searing top end, midrange punch and a psssht noise then a turbo is for you.

there is a large topic going along in "Tech & Conversions" at the moment - have a good read of that and you will get a good understanding of the differences.
Not to be overly rude, but this topic will be locked as it's pretty well covered already and doesnt need to degrade any further
Thanks.
