A stylised dragon forms the Celica symbol.
Kiichiro Toyoda was supposed to be a big fan of dragon boat racing.
Celica is also a North European name meaning heavenly (celestrial).
i searched this up on goodle since i was also very interested to know the answer, and thats wat i found..
i thought it looked like a boat.

There is another dragon logo I have seen around, I don't know what celica it was used on, but it is just the head of the dragon in more detail. It looks a lot meaner than the swan boat logo!
Someone here uses it as their avatar.

a bit off-topic but when I was going to get a MA-61 supra I was thinking an interesting mod would be to airbrush my own version of the logo on the car. It would have steel look block letters "SUPRA" in the foreground and just behind it would be a swan that would have chrome feathers, arched neck with a downward facing head, glowing red eyes and a pychopathic look to it. Would of gotten a few looks I think!

Anyone who thinks it's a swan should have a closer look. Do swans breathe fire? No, dragons do.

Best way to wind-up our North American Celica/ Celica-Supra owning cousins is to refer to it as the 'Celica Duck' or 'SUpra Duck' .
You wouldn't believe the hate-mail I got first time I used that term.

i have got a 2.5." exhaust with 1 resinator and a 3" cannon style muffler.. i find that if u rev it out to about 4500rpm then put the clutch in when the engien is hot it back fires..
if u goto about 5000 rpm and do the same a flame will spit out hte exhaust.. i have had blue flames and yellow flames... the longest one was 30cm and at night it looks fucking insane!!! i think it used to blow flames before i had the exhaust pt on tho... but it does it more now cause more unburnt fumes would be building up in the exhaust pipe

I've got a 2.5" straight from turbo back. And a muffler...
And I've only ever spit one flame out.. ever. And thats on the freeway after tramping it trying to make some space between me and the tailgater behind me. I still can't get over the fact that the 5me spit flames heh... I only spit out smoke
