I have a 90 MarkII Cressida, turbo diesel (2L-T), which blew up two nights ago.
so i am now seriously considering putting a 1JZ-GTE into her.
Being a diesel it inherently brings more complications. I have been told by some that i would need a new fuel tank/lines/pump, and the possibility of the diff ratio causing problems.
However other persons have suggested that with sufficient cleaning the fuel tank could stay... afterall a bit of diesel into a petrol engine is gonna blow anything up, as opposed to vice versa.

Also, i have been informed that the JZX81 is the front cut to get for MX83 cressidas, to avoid complications with sump/cross-member issues. Is this also true for an LX80 Mark II????
How much harder is it to put a JZX90 in???

Any thoughts or advice would be great
