Has anyone used 91 4x4 calipers on a rn41 hilux?
I currently have 4wheel drums and want to change the front brakes to disc the problem being is that i want realy good stoping power because i am either using a turbo motor or a bombed holden 304 brock motor. the 91 4x4 calipers are 4 piston, will they work with 84 4x2 discs because they bolt straight on. please help.[COLOR=limegreen]

Are you;
A. Swaping the complete setup ie- drum to drum for disc to disc
B. Trying to figure if the axle length, dia, splines are the same
C. Attempting to remove drums, bolt in discs
???

my car is a 4x2 petrol rn41 hilux. I am removing the drums and replacing with discs, they need to be the same stud pattern, height and offset. The 84 4x2 discs bolt sraight on (stubaxles, rotors and calipers) but i would like 4 piston calipers for better stoping power. It needs to be legal and cheap, 84 conversion is $170 from the wreakers, compleate. If the 4x4 calipers dont fit on the 4x2 stub axles is there another redaly aval 4 piston caliper that works?

Another thought -
The mounting holes for the 4 spot caliper are 90mm C/C and the RN41 disc caliper is about 110mm from memory (you could make a new caliper mounting bracket).
