Why is it every act of stupidity on the roads about 90% of the time it some fuckwit in a Commodore. . Ok Driving home from my mates place yesterday afternoon. at west and james street, some hero in a VY/VZ ute drifts around the conner nearly loses the arse end in it, and flys up west street. Next set of lights fuckhead does a burnout. I mean why even bother? OK, I could understand doing shit like that where you can't hurt anyone but not on a fucking major street. Moron

Probably got a lot to do with the number of them on our roads. Wonder if they will propose banning young drivers from being behind the wheel of family cars now?

wouldn't suprise me. I was going too say that they should just ban wankers buying Commodores but then again they would find another car to hoon about in so that wouldn't work. These dickheads don't realsie by being fuckheads there going too ruin it for everyone else.

I say clapped out gemini's (is there any other type? ) until you've got 10 years driving experience.
Anyways, if he had hit a brick wall the chances of survival would have been significantly higher. That pole did what I expected it to, cut the car in half. I only had to see the picture to tell what the car hit, something with a small area of impact.

bah, if you want to limit deaths, limit all p platers to driving 4 cyls, under 2.2, AFAIK the 3sfe is the largest capacity 4 cyl out there?
and yeah, theres no doubt that the majority of hooners are behing the wheel of a high powered car, these just happen to be readily avaliable in the form of a 3.8 litre and 4.0 litre falcadore, but then again, you have your jap car crashes too!

Yeah but the Holden is the car thats involed in the majoirty of them.
This is what I mean. These wankers will fuck it up the kids on P plates that want a certain type of car. I suppose I can't really talk either as I have hooned as well. But I have never done anything I knew I wasn't capabale of doing and have never been that stupid too do something like that in the first place. It's all about your abillity, the cars abillity, the road and surrounding and the weather conditons. I'm am sick of hearing the "I drive a fast car so I must be a better driver" attidude shit that goes on. It is one thing to own a fast car but it another thing to be able to drive it!

Personally I hate threads like this and think they shouldnt be allowed here. What if it was a family member of yours and someone posts that they are fuckwits and idiots etc, how would you feel?
Too many of you post things without thinking. Hate a car, fine, but think about the families of the people involved.
So many people on here brag about crashing into shit or having close calls or going 200kmh on public roads etc, does this make you less of an idiot? Oh yeah I forgot, only toyota drivers are able to do "sensible drifting" and "safe speeding".

Sorry Dust, really can't agree with you on this one.
How would you like it if it was your child that was run down by someone 'hooning'.
I grew up in a hooning area in Sydney's western suburbs and have seen two people run down by negligent hooners (one child and one garbo).
I do feel sorry for the families these people as it's not their fault and I can't imagine how hard a loss they are feeling. But I think they DO need to be made example of. Some people just don't realise how much of a weapon a car really is.

Here here, i was in a mass car crash because a guy i knew decided he would be cool and speed down a shitty road in the parents commodore...... hittin a guard rail at 180km/h and rollin like 6 or 7 times later landing in a paddock lucky to be alive. To make things worse one of wheels ripped off the commodore and was on the road and caused another car to crash. Moral of the story alot of kids get to drive there parents commodores which have as much power or more then a sporty 2lt so i think they should look more towards banning the big family cars too. My 2 cents

Defenceive driving courses for all new drivers imo, else they have to drive ghetto underpowered shit boxes. Partially fund the courses with revenue from speeding fines, too easy.

indeed the 944 S2 does have a 3l 4 cyl, plus you have to take diesels into account im sure there plenty of bigger diesels, i now most are 2.8 4cyl not sure if there are any bigger 4 cyl diesels not to big on them but i'm sure some truck has a bigger one.
