I am looking for the correct part number for the rear demister switch that is located on the L.H.S. below the indicator stalk switch. I called my local Toyota parts dealer today and asked could he order me one, my car was built in April 1998 but apparently Toyota changed the physical layout or else the pin out of the switch at this time.
Unfortunately the guy at Toyota could not be 100% as to which switch I had and which one I needed to order, or what the differences are between the 2 switches.
Here is all the information I have from my car.
1998 Toyota Levin BZ-G
Model : GF-AE111-ACFZF
Engine : 4A-GE 1587cc
Frame Number : AE111-5056334
Trans-Axle 0160-12A
Plant-Built M12
Can anyone please advise me with the correct part number or tell me if my rear demister switch is the first or later specification one.
The best way I can describe it at the moment is the switch is approximately 2 inches high and half an inch wide in a rectangle shape, and it sits into the dash/console below the indicator stalk on the L.H.S. vertically just beside the small coin holder.
I will get the switch tomorrow and let you know how may pins is on it if that any help.
