AE-82 Dash Lights gone - Help?

Well this is my 1st post. Lol (known as mrmits on other forums)
I just bought a 85, AE-82 CS-X and the dash lights dont work. I have been through and changed the fuses, but nothing. I was just wondering if it was a common thing for the intensity controller for the dash to go, or the bulbs them selves. Cause I find it hard to beleive that all the bulbs would go at once. Any help anyone?
