Hey guys just need some help on this i put an 100kw engine in my car. We have used the old looms from the car to hook up the 100kw by just changing the plugs from circle to square plugs and it has all wired up good. I am now running the 100kw engine on the old 86kw ecu, it start fine and seems ok atm really havent tested it out yet.Is there any known problems you guys know of like:
1. will there be problems with this setup for now ?
2. how much power will i loose?
3. can the setup i have damage my engine ?
I wanna change to the 100kw ecu soon , only problem is how to do it. Can i cut off the old plugs and solder the 100kw plugs onto the already existing loom coming from the engine ?
is that possible? (easier) or should i just throw in the loom from the 100kw engine that i got when buying the setup (hard job)
