My 3sge gen 1 has a bit of a problem in terms of drivability...
If i start revving to 4000-6000 it sounds like its stressing majorly..
I've heard lots of engines do 4000 a lot easier than my motor...
What could it be?
I'm using magnetic oil (mainly coz its nice and thin, and second of all i got it for free)...
Could it have something to do with my o2 sensor?
any reasons for this?
Thanx for ur help!!!

You need to give us more info. Stressing as in its struggling to get there, or just isn't happy to be around those revs?

It gets up there no problems, it just sounds like it doesn't want to...
Its just not happy around those revs when u hold it...
And yeah could it be running rich or lean? Coz when i start the car in the morning i see a puff of smoke, looks to be white/very light grey... And yeah it smells like fuel a lot.. I think its running lean or rich..
Thanx

doubt it has anythin to do with ya oil but u should run a thicker oil for a 1st gen 3sge as to how old the engine is
