So who else doesn't have a room yet and wants to attend?
I'll be hooking up with the south coast guys instead of running out to Homebush and back the way I came. Southerners (Liverpool, Shire, etc.), where's the best place to hook up? I was thinking the Bundeena turnoff for the Royal National Park, there's a carpark before the turnoff.

Unfortunately I will not be able to attend for the entire weekend away but I will be driving down to Kiama for the social meet/carpark display on the Sunday. For those of you in the same boat who would like to meet up and cruise down together it will be a 8am leave (sorry I know this is another early one) to get there for 9:30ish.

Does anybody need a room for a (sat) night?
most of the CCG are coming down for the Sat and Sun, I have booked a room for myself and a friend overnight (sat night), if we can get 2 more people who need a room for that night it will only be about $43 each. if anyone would like to join us either let me know here, via PM or phone me 0410302495.
looking forward to the weekend

An interesting note for those going to Jamberoo Recreation Park - Check out their web site (the link is at the top of this thread). There's a voucher you can print for a couple of dollars off the entry price (this is for the tight-arses like me )

twas a great day yesterday, first time the corona has seen some real twisties, i love that road. Anyway just like to thanks the organisers it went well, now if we could of just got rid of that bloody camry the run up the hill would of been so much better, sorry to anyone that followed my car irally, tourev and the celica from canberra although it think it was right by then.
I know the motor needs work but can't be bothered cos its gonna get gone in the next year.
It handled the climb well and gave the guys in the celica some entertainment on the slower corners and surprisingly didn't slow them down too much cos of the low down torque making it easy to come out of the corners.
Hopefully by the next big event i'll have a new car and have some more fun.
Oh and thanks graig for organising the cambo cruise down

Top weekend guys, thanks for including us Canberrans! Had an absolute blast, the panelvan almost spent more time sideways than straight (as did Justen's GT8), and nothing broke!
I still can't believe that guy next door to us in 108 had more of an issue with us talking at 2am in the morning, rather than the raging laughter & constant pornstar moaning from room 113
Cheers

I'm only really echoing others here, but WOW! - AWESOME weekend A big thanks goes out to everyone who came and made it as enjoyable as it was, but especially to those guys who spent time beforehand scoping out the accomodation, and locations for show/cruise etc.. The extra effort is really appreciated.
It was great to see such a large Canberra contingent as well, and as always you guys were a blast. Would've loved to have a few more beers with you all but I'm still feeling pretty crook even now. Also, apologies for not saying goodbyes at the pie shop, but I didn't realise you weren't back at the lodge that night as well. Hope it was a safe (trouble free) trip home.
I've got a whole bunch of photos from the trip that I'll get up asap.. Just gotta sort through them all first.

I wonder how much the lodge charges for permanent accomodation, though I would've written my car (& probably myself) off by now coming down Jamberoo Mountain Rd. I wonder why all those people were tooting me...

Guys that was a top event and a top Easter long weekend away. Big thanks to the guys of Room 113 for accommodating us at the last minute. Never a dull moment in that room...
Some beautiful cars at the static display in Kiama, but the run up the Macquarie Pass was unforgettable. Top roads, loads of twisties, the odd inconsiderate prick slowing us down but good nonetheless. Rod's brakes on the return trip down the mountain towards the lodge smelled like Cityrail... hard to come down that side without riding the brakes for about 70% of the way. Huge thumbs-up to all those involved in organising the event, went off very well and I'm already looking forward to next year. Finally the RAV got to it's first Toymods Easter event!!
Cheers.

As you can see, the weekend revolved around me and i had alot of fun.
Since no one else has spoken out, im going to list the highlights of my trip:
- Stitt falling into a bush
- Paul breaking 'a thousand' schooner glasses at lawn bowls
- The fact that the above mentioned beers were $2.30
- Witzl and his ass frenzy.
- Paul coping a face full of used dom complete with car polish filler. (then whinging like a bitch that he must have swallowed some)
- Paul not being able to keep 4 wheels on a solid road surface at any one time.
- Justen and his Chicken feeder theory.
- The chicken feeders at the kiama bowling club.
- The stupidly addictive choclate machine at the kiama club, that must of taken $100 and dispensed $5 worth of chocolate. (mostly to jason). There was actually a crowd and cheering
- Teh Pr0n and the perm's subsequent innie / outtie theory.
- A few genius' inflating an air matress with 4M exhaust fumes after a sarcastic comment from t00bs.
- Maquarie pass run.
- Pink neons with remote control switch under the bonnet of a dato with FJ20
- My car for consistantly being a whore, but then working a treat when required.
and our general payouts on stitt for anything and everything.... mainly mel though.
I really did enjoy the time away and hopefully there will be another outing soon enough.

Such a great weekend, so many good times...
Big thanks to all who came and to all those who helped organise, everyone shares the responsibility for such a great weekend!!
The weather held out for Jamberoooo... no braking on toboggans - all good fun. I think we set new land speed records on the go-carts , and some crazy people braved the water.
It was excellent to see so many people make the day trip to Kiama for the car park display... mother nature provided the perfect weather and we provided the cars
AND Thanx heaps to Paul, Rod and anyone else who I hitched a ride with!!
There's a whole bunch of pics which should hit the gallery soon (after a small amount of censoring)
Can't wait for next year.....

Yes Glenn Bush is an unchartered place for me, but as for smooth barren places, there've been well mapped.
My highlights included
- Friday arvo bowls
- Me falling in a bush (on the advice of another member)
- The genuine 1970's price's for beer at the Jambaroo bowling club and Pub.
- The amount of free grog that was supplied by a certain multinational.
- As Glenn said the laughter, and surprises of Karls fascination with arse shots and other wrong photos.
- The Sprinter Photo.
- Doing a Lap in the Wagon down into Jambaroo. Dickie seats Rock!!!
- Saturdays and Sundays Laps in the GT8 that think hauls some arse.
- The Bands playing at the Kiama bowling club on Sat night.
- The rate at which the tequila went down on Sat night. Awesome lining up 10 or so shots.
- The amount of ppl the location and the quality of cars at the show n shine
- The awsome roads that we cruised on Sun arvo particularly the second time thru (thanks Chris)
- Watching Chris and Glenn pull those insane moves around a civic on Jamberoo Mt road.
- Almost falling off a old tree log in a state Forrest.
- The Sunday night dinner
- The constant jokes, bagging out and general attitude of room 113 and its visitors over the whole weekend.
Overall a damm good weekend.
Karl I will get my photos to you soon, just got to get the camera back of the wagonist.
