AGREED!
trueno coupes look weird to me, the way the headlights are a sharp cut off when they're down, which don't suit the stumpy end.

paulmcmahon wrote on Mon, 11 April 2005 18:34 | hey if you guys had any idea(apart from the pop up lights) you would know its a tureno. do levins rev out to 8ooo? do levins have power mirrors and thats the original 4a-ge im telling you guys its a tureno. i know on the pics it looks like a levin, but its not. its got the rear diff, rear disk brakes, the power steer, the bucket seats. if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

In answer to your rhetorical questions...
Yes a COROLLA LEVIN GT-APEX 2-Door would have all those features...

look at the power steering fluid retainer. Look at the color of the seats and the vynil interior. It's defintiely an APEX>

levin and truenos are basically the same apart from the obvious, just came in different specs ie gt-apex, gtv, unless an ae85 but thats a whole other story, its obviously a levin coupe, even if it was a trueno, its a levin now, and u cant go around giving out false information unless you know for a fact that it is a trueno, but who is going to even care if it "use" to be a trueno, cause its a levin now, it looks like one of the cars just jap had a while back, looks cleaner then before. Well good luck with the sale. Nice car.

well it's like calling aus spec cars with trueno noses 'fake'.
the panels fit perfectly. There is nowhere on the VIN/chassis plate to say it's fake.
So yeah, not an issue at all.

gees guys it was a trueno but had a front end change just like my trueno,
The giveaway it the photo of the engine bay there is a paint outline where the popup lights mount to the radiator support, and the light mounting is different.
