accessing heater core in ma61 with intact AC - easy? Mon, 11 April 2005 14:58 Go to previous message
the heater in my MA61 has developed a leak that's slowly soaking the carpet on the driver's side.

Does the centre AC/heater unit come out without requiring the AC to be moved or ungassed?

having spent a small fortune getting the AC working, i'm a bit reluctant to do something that results in the (seemingly goldplated) gas escaping or causing some kind of costly damage.

yes, i'll also dive into the Mk 2 TSRM, but any experiences?

(my experience with an RA40 is that the AC unit gets in the way of the central heater/distribution box).

tia, charles.
