I just measured the valve clearances on my Grande and just thought I'd ask the forum if they are too far out of spec and need adjusting. If so where's the best place to buy shims?
Have a look at the attached list.
I've also retorqued the head after 1300kms since changing the head gasket.
i wouldnt worry about the 14's on the intake, but fix everything over that
equally, i wouldnt worry about the 12's on the ex, but id fix the 13
if i recall correctly, 3sfe has the same size shim. just go to the wrecker and rip a head off a camry and swipe a handful. otherwise toyota charges +$7 ea
