Hey Guys,
Im looking to offset 1 Day a week for the next 3 months against my Annual Leave and take up work experience in a Panel/Spray shop because i want to learn the tricks of the trade and i cant afford to offset 6 months fulltime through TAFE to do the same thing.
So, Does anyone own/manage a Paint/Panel shop and would be willing to take on a 26yo for some kind of training/work experience 1 day a week for 3 months or so? Unpaid of course! (In Perth only obviously..). I'll be honest, I want to learn the basic skills so later i can respray my own beast (and repair damage to it as well).
Serious about this so mature responses only thanks.

One place I suggest trying is West Perth Panel and Paint.
The owner is a best friend of my girlfriends dad.
I have no idea if its the kind of thing he'd do, but I've seen some of the work thats come out of there and its magnificent.
Definately a great place to learn and worth a try.
(No, I don't know him personally)

no thats fine, thats helpful too.. do you know his name offhand? west perth is good because its only 2 suburbs from me
