Sat, 07 May 2005 08:53 now the majority (80%) of intercoolers are mounted with the intercooler pipes entering the bottom, ie... and then you see a few like this.... and then you see the odd one that looks like this..... so the question is, is there a reason you see the majority of intercoolers mounted as is display number one....theory tells me that hot air rises there for the coolest place is the bottom of the intercooler (hence so many are mounted like number one)....so looking for peoples input on mounting their intercoolers as the second picture vs the first, pros cons etc....
