I've recently installed a water/oil cooled T3 turbo onto my 18RGEU motor. However when the motor is under boost water is expelled from the overflow tank.
I'm using the heater lines to cool the turbo (heater no longer connected only the turbo) and i've installed a three core radiator. I've tested the compression of the engine as i have recently installed a 2mm copper head gasket and was worried about the seal.
I doubt the gasket is the problem anyway as the cooling system is fine as long as i keep the car off-boost. (Which isn't much fun ).
I was curious whether a higher rated radiator cap is needed as a turbo has been introduced? Currently i'm using a 13psi one.
