Hi all, got a few probs with my old r-c. Firstly, its guzzling petrol more like a V8 rather than a 2ltr, 2ndly its idling really rough and 3rdly, i cant damn well fix it!! I've mucked around with the timing and idle mix screws, which fixes it for a bit, but the idle mixture screw is now turned all the way in and that cant be too good! What i think is that i jus keep on adjusting the idle mix to suit the rpm with the timing crap, which is causing all my fuel probs. The car runs fine, its jus the idle. How do i get it to idle properly and still run ok?? This is pretty dumb, but how do i PROPERLY adjust the timing? as in all that 7deg BTDC?? I dont understand any of that, i just line up the 1st notch with the timing light? Any tips would be great!! Thanks guys!!
