Sun, 29 December 2002 12:16 Was just wondering what (if any) sort of engine mounts need to be made to fit a 1GGTE into a 4A-C powered car. I seen a Sprinter with one in it and I assume you would need to have some new mounts fabricated to make it fit. How hard? How much? I am looking at putting a 1GGTE into a Tercel (with supra/celica box and new diff) instead of what everyone else seems to be doing which is put a 4A-GZE into a Corolla. (I like to be different, hell, I own a Tercel and have modified it thats different enough). The 4A-C is not only long in the tooth but worn out and is getting beaten by smokey old 1600 Gemini's. Also I can get another Tercel for about $800 and build it up. I will also need to convert the previously front wheel/all wheel drive setup the Tercel has by putting a new diff in it (for rear wheel drive). What measurement should I take of the old box and tunnel to see what would fit? What sort of diff do you recommend? Any help would be great. [Report message to a moderator]
